This surprising Red Pyriute is actually red due to a staining of Hematite on the surface of the crystal. This specimen as great color contrast from gold to red for a nice aesthetic display piece.

Note that all my photos were taken using full spectrum lighting, which does fairly well in replicating natural sunlight, without any filter and the photos are unaltered, other than sizing them for Etsy.
