The top grade Bumble Bee Jasper cabochon which I cut for this ring is a premium example of the perfectly named Bumble Bee Jasper from Indonesia, collected near the hot steaming calderas of an active volcano, giving an evocative image to the yellow-orange plumes. This stone shows rich orange and yellow contrasting with black in eye catching patterns. The cabochon measures approximately 20.5 x 15.5 mm with a well rounded dome shape. The band of the ring is fabricated from Sterling Silver and the setting is made from fine silver (which has a higher silver content than sterling).
