These playfully simple yet elegant earrings contain a matched pair of richly colored Rhodolite Garnets set in Sterling Silver accented with rich spheres of 18kt Gold. This original design was created by me and each pair is also hand-fabricated by me.
I call this design the "Emma Earrings" after my niece Emma. I created this design for Emma to commemorate her 9th birthday when she got her ears pierced, and, after creating the pair for Emma, I got requests from others, so have started to make this design staple in my earring designs.
The Rhodolite Garnets in this pair measure 5mm round, but I also make the same design in various stones measuring 3mm, which has become equally popular. The 3mm design offers an option for those with smaller earlobes. I make this design also with either all Sterling Silver or a mix of Sterling Silver and 18kt Gold and have many options as to the gemstones.
