This cabochon of material referred to as "Reef Amethyst" from material coming out of Morocco displays that "chevron" amethyst cross-section of amethyst crystals along with the base layers, which includes a gorgeous band of white Quartz in the mix. Certainly a one-of-a-kind cab that would make a beautiful piece of jewelry.
