Vivianite Scepter Crystal from Brazil

This gorgeous small scepter of Vivianite from an exciting new find in Brazil displays beautifully with incredible dark to emerald green color and patches of blue. Vivianite is a rare hydrated iron phosphate mineral, colorless when first exposed, but after exposure to the air, the iron oxidizes and the mineral’s color becomes light green, light blue, blue-green, dark green, dark blue, or black, depending on the length of exposure, named after the English mineralogist F. G. Vivian.
