Botryoidal Romanèchite with Pyrolusite from Spain
This beautiful bubbly specimen looks like it came from an alien landscape with fantastic aesthetic botryoidal structure and sprays showing the growth pattern. Romanèchite is a barium manganese oxide mineral, and is a valuable ore of manganese. It is commonly found associated with Pyrolusite and other manganese oxide minerals as well as Goethite, Calcite, and Quartz. This specimen is from Haití mine, Cabezo San Ginés, Cartagena, Murcia, Spain.
