This gorgeous Vivianite specimen from Brazil displays beautifully with incredible dark to emerald Green color. Vivianite is a rare hydrated iron phosphate mineral, colorless when first exposed, but after exposure to the air, the iron oxidizes and the mineral’s color becomes light green, light blue, blue-green, dark green, dark blue, or black, depending on the length of exposure, named after the English mineralogist F. G. Vivian.
