This specimen out of Milpillas Mine in Mexico is covered in beautiful sparkling deep red octahedral Cuprite crystals on lighter colored matrix. The red is clearly seen, even without back lighting, as opposed to looking black as in many specimens of Cuprite. This piece stands nicely on it's own and would be a great addition to a collection.
