A rare Herringbone pattern in rich colors of honey orange and tan, bits of black outlining and earthy autumn brown dominate this large translucent cabochon of Petrified Wood. I got just a small amount of this material from someone who did not know the origin, but it's definitely a found treasure! I’ve got a little left that I’m going to hold onto for a while, but this one is now ready to be put into a piece of jewelry and shown off!
