Azurite "Blueberry" from Russia
This larger sized specimen has outstanding ball-shaped formations of deep Blue Azurite with pockets of deep blue glittering druzy. This is a wonderful piece to add to a collection, with great aesthetic appeal. It is also often referred to a an Azurite "geode" because druzy veins/pockets are typically found if sliced in half. I've been tempted to cut this one, but never got around to it. With all the pockets of gemmy drusie in this one, I can only imagine what the interior would reveal.
