Fluorite from the Harvest Pocket, Lady Annabella Mine, Eastgate, Durham County, England
This sparkling specimen is from the Harvest Pocket of the Lady Annabella mine and displays great transparent to yellow Fluorite cube crystals. This Fluorite also fluoresces a bright blue under UV lighting as you can see in one of the photos.
The Lady Annabella Mine is now closed, with the UK Mining Ventures project ceasing production in June 2023 after exhausting all mineralized areas, which included a final pocket release in early 2024. The mine, known for its spectacular fluorite specimens from the Weardale area of County Durham, England, produced its last mineral pockets after three years of work.
