This is beautiful and rare yellow botryoidal Fluorite from China, an unexpected location, with most botryoidal Fluorites coming out of India, and the Indian Fluorite doesn’t display the stepped growth pattern seen in this more recently discovered Chinese Fluorite. Adding to the beauty of this specimen is that it has grown on a base of purple octohedral Fluorite covered in a white mineral which really just can't identify. A nice addition to anyone’s collection and a necessity for Fluorite collectors.
