Bronzite (also known as Hypersthene) is a brown stone with a bronze-like metallic luster caused by the iron content in the material. Gound up Bronzite is said to have been used by ancient Romans as a powder to use as a protection against mental illness and confusion, and as a general treatment to strengthen the nerves (I wouldn't recommend this!).
