Swimming tendrils of brown and creamy tan undulate in a great flame pattern through a highly contrasting sea of black with small pockets of opalized blue agate in this large Top Grade inspiring and nicely-domed increasingly rare designer cabochon of Petrified Indonesian Birdseye Palm Root. From the Indonesian Island of Sumatra, this unique material is definitely Eye-Catching and captures an amazing piece of natural history. As the trunks of these trees were never found, it is thought that only the roots were preserved in this agatized form. Truly a unique stone, some of the Best of the Best of this material, which will make a Stunning One-of-a-Kind piece of high-end jewelry!

Do note that there are a couple minor "pits" in this stone, but that is very common in this material and they really don't detract, and I truly believe that this adds character to the stone and enhances the "natural" feel of the stone.
