Rare Feather Pyrite Designer Cut Cabochon

I cut this large cabochon of very rare Feather Pyrite from material coming from the rugged East Harz Mountains in Niedersachsen (Lower Saxony) Germany. Feathery vein patterns of pyrite within white quartz create an image of tall golden grass being blown by the wind with the pyrite sparkling wildly throughout in this stunning cabochon.
