I cut this cab by hand and it's been polished to a mirror polish both front and back with slightly beveled bottom edges for easy and safe setting.

Note that all my photos were taken using full spectrum lighting, which does fairly well in replicating natural sunlight. However, almost all cut stones will look best and brightest in direct sunlight.

Information on Tiger Tail Jasper - Tiger tail is a seam jasper out of Chihuahua Mexico near the border with New Mexico. It has bands and swirls of burnt orange, yellow and red jasper that are the result of flow patterns in sediment or volcanic ash that becomes saturated with silica. It also has pockets and bands of hematite.
