Turkish Ankara Stick Agate Designer Cut Cabochon

This striking cabochon, with rich chocolate brown "sticks" in a translucent deep amber colored background with great contrasting green flecs, is a rare Ankara Stick Agate coming from the Cubuk District in Central Anatolia-Ankara that is known for Turkish agates. Sure to WOW in a piece of jewelry! This boldly patterned stone would be an outstanding inspiration for your next project or simply to add to your collection! Note that I've included a photo of the back to show that there is a sizable pit in the back, but this does not diminish the beauty from the front of the cabochon. I've taken this into account in pricing this cab.

Each of my stones is handcut by me and highly polished on both sides with slightly beveled edges on the bottom for easy setting.

Note that all my photos were taken using full spectrum lighting, which does fairly well in replicating natural sunlight. However, almost all cut stones will look best and brightest in direct sunlight.
