A true rich deep lavender purple color, this gorgeous and nicely domed cabochon is from material coming from Africa in limited quantities. This material is soft (but solid and without fractures), but takes a beautiful polish and the color is simply gorgeous. Due to the softness, I would never recommend this for a ring, but it would make a standout pendant or necklace. I've only started working with this material, but the color and polish it takes make this one of my new favorites.
