This Crown Of Silver Psilomelane cab has great patterns in "silver" and black. This material is from Mexico and is actually manganese oxide in cryptocrystalline quartz and, honestly, an incredibly messy stone to cut! But the patterns that emerge are amazing and truly unique. I've given this cabochon a low dome (to accentuate the pattern), girdled sides and a slightly beveled bottom. It would make a real stand-out one-of-a-kind statement piece of jewelry even in a simple setting or a great addition to a collection.
