Laguna Lace Agate Designer Cut Cabochon

This striking Laguna Lace Agate cabochon has fantastic tight banding and astoundingly rich colors. A great example of why this is highly coveted agate, considered one of the best of the banded agates to be found. The best part of what I do is when I'm able to bring out that beauty that's hidden in craggy brown rocks like this one was. It pretty much speaks for itself, and will definitely make a truly one-of-a-kind head-turning piece of jewelry.

Note that, as can be clearly seen in one of the photos, there is a small nick along the bottom edge, but it doesn't compromise the stone.

Each of my stones is handcut by me and highly polished on both sides and slightly beveled on the bottom for easy setting.

Note that all my photos were taken using full spectrum lighting, which does fairly well in replicating natural sunlight. However, almost all cut stones will look best and brightest in direct sunlight.

Known for its extremely tight banding and vibrant shades of red and scarlet, Laguna Lace Agate is one of the most highly praised banded agate in the world. Laguna Agate is found in an area covering about four square miles in a remote mountain range in the state of Chihuahua, Mexico.
