I cut this cab by hand and it's been highly polished both front and back with slightly beveled bottom edges for easy setting.
Cheetah Agate is a relative newcomer, having been discovered in Brazil while they were mining for Apatite. The name is a direct reflection of the colors and patterns in the stone, which sometimes contains bits of blue apatite.

Beautiful cabochon. Exactly as pictured. It will make a beautiful piece of jewelry for my daughter, her favor animal is a cheetah. She loved it.
