I'm not sure of the origin of this stone, the rough was only identified to me as "moss agate", but the colors and patterns in this stone are a wonderful mix of orange and red feathery moss-like inclusions in great puffy windswept patterns. I've cut this one a bit thinner so that the beautiful inclusions can be seen more clearly and the stone maintains a bit of translucence.

I cut this cab by hand and it's been highly polished both front and back with slightly rounded bottom edges for easy setting.
Note that one of the bottom edges is a bit rough with tiny pits, but it would be covered by almost any setting.
