Snowville Variscite Designer Cut Cabochon, Designer Cabochons

This sizable cabochon of highly desirable and sought after black-webbed Snowville Variscite has great spiderweb veining with luscious minty green and a little bit of peachy contrast, like a couple little flower blooms. I've cut this cabochon with a medium high dome, slightly angled girdled sides and slightly rounded bottom edges.

Each of my stones is handcut by me and polished on both sides with smooth edging on the bottom for easy setting.

Note that all my photos were taken using full spectrum lighting, which does fairly well in replicating natural sunlight. However, almost all cut stones will look best and brightest in direct sunlight.

Absolutely stunning Utah Varascite material looks closer to Nevada Varascite then it does to most Utah Varascite. It was being mine in small production of a rancher's land. He was very kind about it, until the miners got greedy and tried taking a trackhoe in. This event caused the rancher to ban anyone from the area to mine the Utah Variscite. The Snowville Utah Variscite deposit produced some of the highest grade of natural variscite the world has ever seen. Snowville Variscite from Utah comes in a mint green color to a lime green color with wonderful jet black spider web matrix most of the time.
